Ms Maio

Ms. Maio brings heart, experience, and enthusiasm to the classroom with eight years of teaching experience and a true passion for helping students grow. She loves making learning fun and meaningful through hands-on activities, creative lessons, and individualized support that helps each student build confidence and success.

Over the years, Ms. Maio has taught a wide range of grade levels and subjects, including elementary, middle school science, social studies, STEM, and debate. Her teaching style blends structure, creativity, and encouragement, allowing students to feel supported while staying engaged and challenged.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Kansas Wesleyan University and holds a K–6 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Her experience with differentiated instruction and technology integration helps her create thoughtful, dynamic learning environments where students can truly thrive.

Ms. Maio lives in Huntington Beach with her husband and their two adorable daughters. When she’s not being a mom, she enjoys playing sports, traveling, and soaking up special moments with her family.
